At Solid Perfumes, every fragrance we sell is 100% authentic and carefully checked before it leaves us. Because perfume is a personal-care product, we follow the industry-standard practice of accepting returns only on items that remain sealed and unused. Please read the terms below before placing your order.

1. Return Window

You may request a return within 7 days of receiving your order. Unfortunately, requests made after 7 days cannot be accepted.

2. Conditions for a Return

To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

  • Unopened, unsprayed and unused
  • In its original, undamaged packaging with all seals intact
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase (your order number or receipt)

For hygiene and authenticity reasons, opened, used, tampered-with or unsealed perfumes cannot be returned.

3. Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, please contact us on WhatsApp at +94 77 717 5651 within 48 hours of delivery, together with a photo of the item and its packaging. We will arrange a free replacement or refund at no extra cost to you.

4. How to Start a Return

Message us on WhatsApp +94 77 717 5651 or email info@solidperfumes.lk with your order number and the reason for your return. Our team will confirm whether your item qualifies and share the return address with you.

5. Return Shipping

For change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for return postage. We recommend using a tracked delivery service, as we cannot be held liable for items lost in transit. When a return is due to our error — a damaged, defective or wrong item — we cover all shipping costs.

6. Exchanges & Refunds

We process eligible returns as an exchange or store credit by default. If you would prefer a cash refund instead, simply let our team know and we will assist you. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method (or by bank transfer for cash-on-delivery orders) within 7 working days of us receiving and inspecting the returned item.

7. Non-Returnable Items

The following cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Opened or used perfumes
  • Items returned without their original packaging or seals
  • Discounted or clearance items marked “final sale”
  • Free gifts and giveaway items
